When it comes to pricing every job is treated uniquely due to the nature of custom paintwork and the great variety between different jobs. At Rebel Creations we work on an individual quotation method for pricing. The customer would usually contact the paint shop and arrange a time to come and discuss design ideas, colours options, and techniques etc with the painter, after which, a quotation would be worked out, written up, and given to the potential client (please see the Process section of the website for more detail).

As every job is unique it is very difficult to give a ‘set price’ for a particular type of job. Prep work, time, and detail can vary greatly from job to job, and these are all aspects that affect the total price.

Below is an estimate price range to give you a rough idea of prices to work with. No prices are set in stone and may vary slightly due to materials costs etc over time. Rough Price bracket guide:

• Fully faired Cruiser style motorcycle including artwork on petrol tank, fenders and side panels. Price ranges from £600 to £2500 depending on the amount of work in the job and detail and complexity of the art work Paintwork of frames or any extra custom panels can certainly be catered for but will cost more.
• Paintwork on a streetfighter style bike ranges from £600- £2500
• Paintwork on a fully faired street/race bike £850- £2500
• Tank work-Airbrush Artwork/mural just on a petrol tank from £250-£600
• A Custom scheme on a trike will cost from £900 to £4000 this depends greatly upon trike models as they can vary so much.
• Solid colour re-sprays on a Classic style bike from £450 upwards
• Single colour re-sprays or special effect paint re-sprays with no artwork on a bike cost from £450 to £2500 depending on the type of colour or special effect paint used and complexity of the job.
• Crash helmets can cost around £150 for a simple plain colour scheme up to around the £250 to £600 mark for a more complex and highly detailed design.
• Leather work on jackets and waistcoats etc costs from £25 for a simple logo, anywhere up to £250 for more detailed mural style work.
• Electric guitars range from a solid colour scheme of around £150 mark to a fully detailed airbrushed piece up to £600 depending on the complexity of the design.
• Airbrushed portraiture or other ‘flat,’ artwork on aluminium sheet would usually range from the £100 mark upward depending on size, detail and time needed on the piece etc.

People sometimes have the misconception that custom paintwork is too expensive. Believe me, if its a custom paintjob you want then its not a cheap paintjob you want. There is a massive difference in professional custom paintwork than a cheap back yard paintjob.
