Gambling with death bike
Clive came to me with loads of ideas that he wanted to incorporate into his paintjob. He knew he wanted some kind of flames and some sort of grim reaper mural on the tank. He had lots of other ideas that needed a direction. Clive wanted to give repect to his bike building hero 'Indian Larry' along with honouring his love for his partner 'Sue' without the pain of a tattoo. We bounced some ideas around and eventually managed to pull all the aspects he wanted together, while giving his paintwork all the meaning he was after.
The Indian Larry question-mark in the fire above the three rolling dice all of which are showing 6's (the number of death) pay tribute to Indian Larry after his death.
The ace cards on the other side of the rear fender read Sue on the top of the three cards together in the hand, and show the heart picture card representing his love for his partner. The ace of spades shows in the card played on the table.
The grim reaper tank mural and the realistic fire help pull the whole paintjob together whilst managing to include everything on Clives' wishlist. Needless to say he was absolutely thrilled when recieving the paintwork back on completion.
